My Favorite Mac and Cheese Waffle Toppings
There are so many ways to dress up these waffles! Here are a few suggestions from my kitchen to yours!
- Sour cream
- Ketchup
- Ranch Dressing

While Mac and Cheese Waffles can be enjoyed by themselves, they are perfect paired with Tomato Soup, Corn Chowder, Turkey Soup, Chili, or to make a leftover Meatloaf waffle sandwich.
How To Store Leftovers
Mac and Cheese Waffles are perfect for last minute dinners are stored and frozen very easily! Make a batch and once they are fully cooled, place a few in a zippered bag labeled with the date or in an airtight container in the fridge for a grab-and-go after school snack (or a quick bite on the way to practice)!
To thaw mac and cheese waffles, reheat them in the microwave wrapped in a paper towel to make them crispy again. Better yet, simply pop them in the toaster or toaster oven and they will look and taste good as new again!

Love it! I had these at Tupelo Homey and they were nothing like this! This is what I anticipated! Perfect!
These are outstanding!
Wow! Had some at Tupelo honey and they were not good at all. I may send them this recipe!!
So easy! So good! Be sure to spray your waffle iron well! We had these with hot dogs. Now macaroni and cheese is finger food!
I am so happy to hear you loved these Rosanne!
So happy to have found this recipe since I am wearing out my mini waffle maker. I either use the premade mac as in the recipe or leftovers. When dining out, I substitute a side to bring home all kinds of mac and cheese (bacon, lobster etc) and whip up with these easy kitchen staples. It’s a perfect side or snack any time of the day
So happy you are loving this recipe, Erin!
I would prefer to use my own version of mac and cheese,,, I’m sure Bob Evans mac and cheese is good but budget wise I make my own… so how much leftover mac and cheese can I use… I do not know how much is in Bob Evans packaging
You will need 20 oz of leftover mac and cheese for this recipe.
