  1. When I was younger my mother always made these for us. When we could smell them cooking in the kitchen, we knew that we had done something great! Most of the time she would just say ‘I made them because I love ya’ll.” I loved eating these cookies they were my favorite. I have tried two recipes to make these and they are always to gooey. They don’t harden at all and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips for me? I would be so grateful.

  2. I make these cookies all the time. Some short cuts mix constantly in the beginning to make sure all of the sugar has melted. Let hard rolling boil from 1-2 minutes. I usually do 1:30. I time it exactly, remove from heat add the vanilla and peanut butter make sure pb is fully incorporated. Then I add the oats. This is my favorite cookie. Be careful though sometimes the batter can come out too wet and the cookies are gooey and if cooked too long they are too dry.
