I think about once a year I get a little craving for a chili cheese dog. However, I think they’re super messy and I really am not a fan of the mess. So the other day I decided to just throw it all together in a baking dish and guess what?! No more mess! Plus this is crazy easy to make. Like you can do it with your eyes closed!! Or, you can just tell the kids to make it. don’t worry, I won’t judge. We all have those days sometimes 😉

This easy casserole recipe is topped with cheese and baked until bubbly and delicious!

Ingredients
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 2 cans chili 14 ounces each
  • 1 can biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup cheddar shredded, divided
Instructions
  1. Spray a 9x13 baking pan with non stick cooking spray.

  2. Cut each hot dog into 6 pieces, cut biscuit dough into bite-sized portions, and mix with chili and 1/2 cup of shredded cheese.

  3. Top the hot dogs and buns with the cans of chili.

  4. Bake covered at 350°F for 25 minutes, uncover and bake an additional 20 mins.

  5. Once baked, top with 1/2 cup shredded cheese and serve.

  1. How many people does this feed?

  2. This recipe was really good. My family loved it. The only thing i did different was to toast the rolls before putting them in the pan. Everything else was the same.
    Will be making this often.
