Ingredient Notes

- Refrigerated Crescent Rolls: These give pizza muffins the thin and flaky crust that will make you fall in love with this recipe.
- Pizza Sauce: Use a thicker sauce and add lightly so it doesn’t soak through the thin crust.
- Cheese: Use plenty of mozzarella and top it off with Parmesan for a salty and cheesy finish.
- Pepperoni: Mini pepperoni works the best here, or you can chop ordinary pepperoni into small pieces.
Variations
- Meat Lovers: Try bacon bits, cooked and diced sausage bits, pepperoni, or grilled teriyaki chicken.
- Veggie Lovers: Add mushrooms, onions, peppers, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, or spinach. I love making a Mediterranean version with spinach, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and feta cheese.
- Hawaiian: Try adding finely diced ham and pineapple bits (drained from a can or fresh).
- Supreme Pizza: Add pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, bell pepper, and olives to create a classic.
