You’ll Fall in Love With These Taco Burritos Because…

- The tangy sweetness of the salsa pairs perfectly with the rice.
- This mixture of beef and seasoned rice is wrapped in a warm tortilla.
- The result is a chewy tortilla holding together a flavorful hearty, satisfying, and rich filling with flavor in every bite!
Ingredients
Meat: Ground beef is called for and pairs perfectly with the other ingredients. Be sure to drain it unless you’re using extra lean ground beef.
Rice: Rice is a versatile, delicious, and budget-friendly filler for taco burritos! And using instant rice makes this recipe super quick to pull together.
Tortillas: Flour tortillas stay soft and supple enough to wrap around all the ingredients in taco burritos. Choose any size from street (5”) to burrito-sized (10”) depending on your needs. Warm flour tortillas for about 10-15 seconds in the microwave so they are easier to handle.
Toppings: Make taco burritos extra ‘supreme’ by adding loads of toppings like lettuce, sliced black olives, jalapenos, diced tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole, and shredded cheddar or a Mexican blend for extra cheesy burritos.
Variations
- Switch out the ground beef for drained and rinsed black beans, pinto beans, or crumbled tofu or seitan for a high-protein vegetarian taco burrito.
- Or substitute chicken, turkey, or any leftover meat that can be used in taco burritos!
- Use white, brown, or any box of instant rice variety on hand, or use leftover cooked rice from the fridge.
