I’ve always loved meatloaf, hot or cold, in a sandwich, leftover… pretty much any which way! My mom always made a traditional meatloaf with onion and bread crumbs and topped it with a ketchup chili sauce topping.
How to Make Meatloaf
When my friend told me she ate meatloaf made with gravy and Stove Top Stuffing, I knew it had to go on my menu. This easy Stove Top Stuffing Meatloaf recipe is our new go to. This recipe uses stove top stuffing in place of breadcrumbs. Since it’s already loaded with spices, seasonings and onion thed prep for this meal is super fast!
How Long to Cook Meatloaf
Cooking this in a bundt pan reduces the cooking time compared to a typical loaf style meatloaf (and gives a yummy crisp exterior). You’ll want to ensure you spray your bundt pan really well to keep the meatloaf from sticking.
This Stove Top Meatloaf should cook about 45-55 minutes or until a thermometer reaches an internal temperature of 160°F. I always let my meatloaf rest a few minutes before slicing so it stays nice and juicy and doesn’t fall apart while I’m cutting it!
What to Serve with Meatloaf
Once cooked, we fill this delicious Stove Top Meatloaf with heaping scoops of our favorite creamy mashed potatoes and top the whole thing with gravy.
Adding a side of green beans or a side salad (and a slice of crusty bread) turns this into a meal that your entire family is going to love! Above all else though, we LOVE to serve this with Easy Baked Zucchini!
What to Do With Leftover Meatloaf
If you happen to be lucky enough to have leftover Stove Top Meatloaf, it’s perfect to enjoy as another meal the next night. The great thing about this easy meatloaf recipe is that it has such great flavor you can break it up and use it in ANY recipe that uses ground beef! Add it to a Baked Ravioli Casserole for another quick and delicious meal or break it up to make an amazing Cheeseburger Casserole or add it to soup!
Can You Freeze Meatloaf?
Absolutely!! Stove Top Meatloaf can be frozen for up to 2 months. I allow it to cool completely and slice it into individual servings making it extra easy to grab a slice for lunch for the perfect meatloaf sandwich!
To defrost, I leave it in the fridge overnight or defrost and then heat it in the microwave.
Stove Top Meatloaf is so easy to prepare yet so absolutely delicious, your family and friends will think you slaved for hours!
