Ingredients  

  • 10 ¾ ounces cream of mushroom soup 1 can
  • ¼ cup milk
  • teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 29 ounces cut green beans drained (2 – 14 ½ ounces cans)
  • 1 ⅓ cups crispy fried onions divided
  • 1 ⅓ cup cheddar cheese shredded and divided

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Mix together mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, pepper, green beans, ¾ cup fried onions, and ⅔ cup cheese.
  • Pour into casserole dish and top with remaining fried onions and cheese.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.

    Even with canned green beans, we like the flavor much better if we cook the beans for a few minutes with a little bacon grease, garlic salt, and onion powder! Yum! Oh, and we don’t use cheese. I’ve never heard of putting cheese in it?
