- Why It Works: Eggs help bind the creamy filling so it holds together better when served.
- Serving Suggestions: Serve with rice or garlic bread for a more filling meal, or pair with a fresh salad for a lighter, balanced plate.
Cook Time: 50 minutes Servings: 6 Cook Method: Oven Baked
Ingredient Notes

- Frozen Broccoli: Thaw completely and drain well, gently pressing out excess moisture to prevent a watery casserole. Chop large broccoli florets into bite-sized pieces for more even servings.
- Cooked Chicken: The real time-saver here is the cooked chicken, which makes this a great dish to use up any leftover rotisserie or shredded chicken you have.
- Cheddar Cheese: Sharp cheddar adds a bolder flavor, while medium cheddar provides a milder taste and creamier melt. For the smoothest texture, shred cheese fresh from the block instead of using pre-shredded.
- Sour Cream: Use full-fat sour cream or replace with plain full-fat Greek yogurt for a slightly brighter, tangier flavor.
- Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup: Cream of chicken or cream of celery soup can be used as flavorful substitutes.

Any “cream of” soup will work in this recipe or you could use alfredo sauce!
