Cake Pop Recipe!

1 box of Cake Mix & ingredients to bake it! ((I used Betty Crocker Strawberry cake & Icing))
1 Jar of Icing ((preferably vanilla or whichever to go with your cake. Chocolate usually isn’t a good icing because it will turn cake batter brown!))
Lolli pop sticks (If you plan on making these cake pops) You can order these HERE if your Walmart stores do not carry them!
Wrappers ((If you plan on using these for a party or get together)) You can order these HERE if your Walmart stores do not carry them!
How to Whip this Up:
-Bake cake as directed on box.
-Break into pieces into a large mixing bowl.
-Add in the Icing ( I use almost the whole container but not all of it!)
-Mix together…. Mixing with your hands is the best & easiest way. It is super messy but its the only way you will get a good feel of the cake! Plus your about to roll the cake into balls anyways! 😉
-Once mixed completely get a pinch of the cake mix and round out into a 1- 1 1/2 inch ball.
-Heat one Chocolate Bar from the Bark as directed (you will only need a small amount)
– Dip the top of the Lollipop Stick into the Melted chocolate.
-Then insert it into the cake pop. Push half way into cake ball. (This step is important the chocolate will harden and keep the ball secure onto the stick!
-Store in the refrigerator over night.
-The next day, melt the chocolate bark & dip the balls into the melted chocolate.
-Tap gently on the side of the bowl to remove extra chocolate.
-Sprinkle the topping before chocolate forms & hardens.
– I usually use a Styrofoam board to keep them upright while the chocolate hardens.
-Store in the refrigerator until a hour before serving!
