With this simple rendition of classic BBQ, the slow cooker breaks down and tenderizes the pork as it cooks, resulting in a tender, juicy barbecue masterpiece. The less tender cuts of pork like the shoulder/butt work well- plus have the bonus of being easy on the pocketbook! Once the meat is falling apart, shred it up into small pieces. Break out a bottle of your favorite sauce to finish off the perfectly seasoned meat.

Crockpot Pulled Pork can be made in advance. It freezes well. Just mix in the sauce and seal it in a freezer bag. You can reheat it in the microwave, stove top, or even back in the slow cooker.
