bacon
cut into small pieces

green beans
drained, 16 ounces each can

butter

onion
diced

garlic

granulated sugar

chicken broth
black pepper
to taste
Instructions
In a large skillet, cook bacon over med-high heat until cooked. Place bacon aside on paper towel to drain grease.
To the medium saucepan, add green beans, butter, onion, garlic, sugar and cooked bacon. Pour in chicken broth and combine.
Bring everything to a boil, then lower heat to medium.
Cover saucepan and let simmer about 15 minutes, or until green beans are tender.
Drain excess juices and serve.
Notes
