Mixed Berry Dump Cake

A quick and easy dessert featuring delicious berries with a simple cobbler topping.


  • 1 box yellow cake mix dry mix, not prepared
  • 12 ounce frozen berries
  • 12 oz can Sprite or 7-Up, or other lemon lime soda


  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease an 8x8 baking dish.
  • Pour frozen berries into the prepared dish and sprinkle dry cake mix on top.
  • Pour the can of soda over top of the cake mix, making sure you get as much of the cake mix wet with soda as possible.
  • Bake 40-45 minutes or until top is golden brown and edges are bubbly.


If you'd prefer, replace the soda with 1/2 cup melted butter.
Frozen berries can be replaced with canned pie filling.
