This Easy Grape Salad recipe makes a festive side dish or dessert, but is also simple enough to make any day of the year.
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar or more to taste
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or ½ teaspoon maple extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 cups whole seedless grapes cut in half lengthwise
- ½ cup pecans chopped
Blend together cream cheese, brown sugar and vanilla with a hand mixer on medium until fluffy. Mix in sour cream.
Stir in grapes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Top with pecans and additional brown sugar, if desired.
- Cut grapes in half lengthwise. They are so pretty cut this way.
- Use room temperature cream cheese for easier blending.
- Use a hand mixer or stand mixer for a light and fluffy dressing.
- Add pecans just prior to serving to keep them extra crunchy.
