Baking Sheet
Parchment Paper
Ingredients
1
can
crescent dough
1
tablespoon
dijon mustard
½
cup
diced ham
1
cup
shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat the over to 375°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Roll out the crescent dough form into a rectangle. Spread mustard down the center of the dough and top with the ham and cheese.
Cut 1-inch strips along both sides of the dough. Cross each strip of dough over each other, alternating from each side.
Place on the baking sheet and bake for 17-18 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
Crescent roll dough will be easier to roll out after it has sat at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
Cut ingredients into small pieces so they stay inside the braid.
For a more shiny finish, brush egg white over dough before baking.
Refrigerate braid in a covered container for up to 3 days.
Freeze sliced braid for up to 3 months wrapped in plastic and stored in a zip top bag.
Thaw slices in the refrigerator before reheating. Reheat in the oven, under the broiler, or with an air fryer.
