Crock Pot Italian Beef (Sandwiches)

pounds
chuck roast
or pot roast
½
cup
butter
1
packet
Italian dressing seasoning
1
packet
brown gravy mix
¾
cup
pepperoncini peppers
, plus ½ cup of juice from the peppers

medium
onion
sliced
provolone cheese slices
hoagie buns
Instructions
Place roast in crockpot. Pour juice from the peppers on top of the roast.
Add butter, Italian dressing seasoning, gravy mix, pepperoncini and sliced onion.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until beef is fork-tender.
Shred beef and return to the juices.
Toast the buns. Top them with the beef and a slice of provolone. Broil until melted.
