1poundlean ground beef
1tablespoonhamburger seasoning*see notes
12ounceselbow macaronior similar-sized pasta
4cupsless sodium beef brothplus more broth (or water) if needed
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks, until no pink remains. Drain any excess grease, then stir in hamburger seasoning.
Add the pasta, broth, and tomato sauce to the beef. Bring to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce the heat to a gentle boil, cover, and cook for 7 to 10 minutes or until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed, stirring occasionally. If the pasta looks dry, add a bit more broth or water.
Remove from heat and stir in the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, ketchup, and mustard, mixing until melted.

The salt levels vary in different brands of hamburger seasoning; you may need to adjust the amount to your taste.If you don't have hamburger seasoning on hand, combine 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (or sweet paprika)
