Instructions
Preheat grill to medium or medium-high heat (375℉ to 425℉).
In a large bowl combine ground beef, Worcestershire, garlic salt, and pepper, mixing until just combined. Don't overmix.
Form into 4 patties about ½" thick. Brush patties with barbecue sauce.
Grill patties for 3-4 minutes on each side or until beef reaches 160℉. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
Notes
Always heat the grill before placing the patties on to achieve a crispy exterior and seal in the juices.
Do not over-mix the ground beef so it does not become tough.
Indent each patty with the back of the spoon to prevent bulging in the center.
B
urgers should reach 160˚F before removing from the grill. The temperature will continue to rise as they rest. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
It’s a good idea to place parchment paper between each patty before refrigerating or freezing (raw or cooked burgers)
Leftovers will keep in the refrigerator for 4 days and in the freezer for 1 month.
