Quick and Easy Broccoli Salad with bacon and cheese is a perfect dish for a barbecue, potluck or just dinner with the family!


  • 6 cups broccoli
  • ½ cup bacon bits or ½ lb bacon cooked and crumbled
  • cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup red onion
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • cup dried cranberries optional


  • In a small bowl, mix mayo, sugar, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.
  • Chop broccoli florets into small pieces and put into medium sized mixing bowl.
  • Add diced onion, shredded cheese, crumbled bacon and sunflower seeds to the broccoli.
  • Add the dressing mix to the other ingredients and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
