Baked Parmesan Crusted Chicken recipe
Servings: 4 servings
Tender chicken in a crispy parmesan panko crust.
- 4 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- ½ cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 ounces cheddar cheese shredded
- ¼ cup bacon cooked and crumbled
In a medium bowl add eggs and garlic powder. Beat with a fork until mixed.
Combine parmesan cheese and bread crumbs in a separate dish.
Dredge chicken with egg mixture and then in the parmesan mixture to coat.
Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes, and then flip.
Bake an additional 10-15 minutes or until juices run clear.
Top each piece with shredded cheese and broil until melted.
Top with bacon crumbles.
