Place drained pasta into a large bowl. Add bacon, cheddar, green onions and tomatoes.
Mix dressing ingredients and pour over ingredients in the large bowl.
Mix until fully combined. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
Cook pasta ‘al dente’, drain and rinse with cold water, or add it to an ice bath, to stop the cooking process and keep the pasta extra firm.
Refrigerate leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
If serving outside in the heat of the day, or even room temperature, place serving bowl over a second bowl with ice in it to keep salad cool. Stir frequently.
