Learn how to make Stir Fried Broccoli with this simple & easy recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch broccoli about 1 pound
  • 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon sesame seeds

Sauce

  • 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon chili flakes

Instructions

  • Peel the tough outer layer from the broccoli stem and cut broccoli into 2" pieces including the stem.
  • Mix sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside.
  • Heat a large pan with oil over medium-high heat, add the broccoli and cook for 2 minutes. Add 2 Tablespoons water to the pan and cook for another 2 minutes or until water has evaporated.
  • Stir in garlic and ginger cooking until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add sauce mixture and cook an additional 2 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
