Crock Pot Chicken Florentine
This creamy spinach stuffed chicken entree is sure to be a favorite with the whole family.

Ingredients

pound
chicken breasts
2
ounces
mozzarella cheese
sliced
2
cups
fresh spinach
3
tablespoons
bacon
cooked and crumbled
salt & pepper
to taste

teaspoon
Italian seasoning
1
jar
Alfredo sauce
400 ml
½
cup
parmesan cheese
Instructions
Butterfly chicken breasts and fill with 1 mozzarella slice, spinach, and bacon bits. Secure with toothpicks.
Season with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Place in the slow cooker and top with Alfredo sauce.
Cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
Remove toothpicks, top with parmesan cheese and serve over pasta.
Notes
Any chicken product should be cooked to a safe internal temperature of 165˚F.
Cut chicken breasts to an even thickness to cook evenly.
After butterflying chicken, pound with a mallet to tenderize.
Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
