Creamy Potato Soup

This is the best potato soup recipe because it's so easy, cheesy and delicious! 

Ingredients

  • 3 cups mashed potatoes
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Melt cream cheese in a large saucepan over medium heat with the onion and garlic powder and 1 tablespoon of stock.
  • Slowly incorporate the chicken broth and whisk until it is smooth.
  • Stir in mashed potatoes and milk and bring to a slow boil over medium heat. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
