cream cheese
softened

salsa
any kind
shredded cheddar cheese
and green onions for serving, optional
Instructions
Microwave cream cheese at medium power in 20-second increments until soft but not melted.
In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese and salsa. Mash with a fork until smooth and well combined. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Transfer to a serving bowl and top with cheddar cheese and green onion if desired. Eat with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggies.
Notes
A shredded cheddar garnish is optional, but recommended
to boost the heat, stir in 2-3 tablespoons of finely diced jalapenos
