Combine all ingredients, except the bread, in a small bowl. Mix until smooth.
Spread the butter mixture on both sides of each slice of bread.
Freeze or bake as desired.
To Bake
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Place the buttered bread on a rimmed baking pan.
Bake 10-12 minutes from frozen or 7-9 minutes if fresh.
Notes
Refrigerate leftovers in a zippered bag for up to 3 days. Freeze unbaked slices between sheets of parchment paper, then inside a zippered bag for up to 3 months.
Thaw frozen garlic bread, and bake as per recipe.
Reheat leftover slices under the broiler, air fryer, or in the toaster.
