Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl cream butter, sugar, and cream cheese. Beat until fluffy.
Slowly add in eggs one at a time, beating well then mix in vanilla.
In a separate medium-sized mixing bowl, blend together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
Slowly mix together flour mixture and cream cheese mixture, just until combined.
Add in buttermilk and stir just until combined.
Gently fold in strawberries and pour the mixed batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool before removing from pan and slicing.

Notes
Do not overmix the batter when combining the wet & dry ingredients. The batter should still be slightly lumpy to avoid dense chewy bread.Grease the bottom of the pan and only ½” up the sides for best results
