Combine paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic powder together and rub onto the chicken breasts.
Place in the air fryer basket and cook for 15- 16 minutes.
Remove from the air fryer and brush with BBQ sauce.
Return to the air fryer and cook for an additional 3 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F internally.
Notes
Place chicken in the air fryer basket in such a way that the hot air can circulate around the pieces.
Use a meat thermometer to check that the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165°F in the thickest part.
The chicken temperature of the chicken will continue to rise as it rests, called carry over cooking. Rest chicken for 5 minutes so that the juices become sealed into the meat.
