This Cream Cheese Lasagna recipe is my secret weapon for impressing my friends and family. I felt it was high time I shared the recipe, so they can make this whenever they want!

This is a really easy recipe to make! Traditional lasagna recipes are made with ricotta cheese but I prefer the smooth creamy texture of cream cheese in this recipe. Serve this with Cheesy Breadsticks and a side salad for a delicious balanced meal!

Serve These With Lasagna:

Lasagna goes with just about everything! It’s a super heavy meal, so a light caesar salad and garlic bread (or breadsticks) make the perfect combination.

Lasagna goes perfectly with just about any salad you can think of, really. Roasted asparagus or other veggies also make perfect side dishes that won’t outshine this perfect cream cheese lasagna!

I love that this recipe doesn’t call for ricotta, I think you will too!!

It was delicious. Next time I’m going to add a little more meat. It seemed too cheesy. For the ones that said it was soupy, they must have missed a step. Mine turned out perfect. The only thing was I had to find a recipe that gave seasoning instructions for the sauce. I added 3 garlic cloves, teaspoon of sugar, tsp of oregano, tsp of Italian seasoning, tsp of basil, and salt &pepper

Cream Cheese Lasagna recipe is one of my hot favorites. I don’t use cheese much in this recipe when I make it in my kitchen.

Excellent! I have it made it twice in one week because my family loved it. The only thing I did differently the 2nd time was added another pound of meat. I did one pound of pork sausage and one pound of beef. I prepared the night before and covered well. Cooked up great the following day.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We loved this recipe and will definitely be having it again. It’s definitely something that can be served when having guests.

    1. We haven’t tried it without meat, but I am sure you could. You could try a veggie “meat” sauce to use in place of it.

      1. We’ve only made the recipe as written Gwendolyn. Let us know how it goes if you do try it with oven ready noodles!

Yes. I used oven ready noodles and cooked it per the recipe directions even though the noodle box has a much longer cook time.it was perfect.

    1. We have only made this recipe as listed Samanrha, but that should work out! Let us know how it goes 🙂

I love lasagna and I always bought the frozen kind, when I tried this recipe, it is easy to make and Very delicious. My son loved it and my friend quickly ask for the recipe. Thank you for sharing the recipe.

    1. I’m so sorry this lasanga didn’t work for you Donna. We’ve made it several times with great success, as have other readers.

Donna, mine came out soupy (but still delicious) but once you let the lasagna sit/rest, it thickens… and is no longer soupy!

    3. I never cover my lasagna when cooking it, it creates too much steam which can make it soupy. It also helps to cook the ground meat before adding it.

I have super severe and awful migraines that send me to the ER at least once a year, and they’re triggered by things like red wine and “fancy” cheese (anything that’s not mild cheddar or moz), it’s such a lame condition! I have always been a fan of lasagna, but every time I had it growing up, I got sick, so I’ve avoided it for YEARS. That is, until I came across this recipe. I just made it tonight and my husband and I are in love with it, oh my gosh! It’s FANTASTIC and I’m surprised I never thought to substitute the ricotta with this before. You are a genius and an angel and I get to have my lasagna back!! Seriously, the BEST lasagna either of us has ever had. A hundred times thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!

  7. Going to try this, it sounds delicious. Our family lasagna maker passed away unexpectantly 7 years ago. He was my son, he is greatly missed everyday. I tried a few times to make it but it was always too dry. Ill let you know how things go after I’ve tried this recipe. Thank You for sharing.
