Three-ingredient banana pops are a wholesome treat that beats the summer heat, and they’re so quick and easy to make. Banana popsicles are coated in yogurt and dipped in tasty extras for a simple frozen treat that can’t be beat!

Holly’s Recipe Highlights
- Flavor: Sweet and tangy, yogurt-covered bananas have endless recipe possibilities!
- Difficulty: Banana pops are a kid-friendly after-school, sleepover, or party snack with minimal prep and easy clean-up.
- Freezing: Prepare banana pops ahead of time and freeze until ready to serve.

Ingredients To Go Bananas Over
- Bananas: Fresh, firm bananas work best in this recipe. Save the older, softer bananas for banana bars or banana bread.
- Yogurt: Greek yogurt is a great option because it’s thick and coats easily onto the bananas, but any kind works, even a non-dairy variety. Choose any flavor of yogurt, from vanilla to strawberry to lemon to chocolate – anything goes!
- Playful Pops Variations:
- For a more intense flavor, stir an extract like vanilla, rum, bourbon, mint, or a citrus extract into the yogurt.
- Roll yogurt-covered banana pops in crushed graham crackers, Nilla Wafers, Nutter Butter cookies, or Oreos.
- Other fun toppings include toasted coconut, chopped peanuts, granola, or mini chocolate or peanut butter chips.

Shortcuts for a Sweet Treat
- Cutting bananas into thirds creates the perfect size for smaller hands to hold.
- Pat the bananas with clean paper towels so the yogurt can stick better.
- Set up a banana pop station with bowls of different flavors of yogurt, and shallow dishes of toppings for fun and easy decorating.
Save-a-Pop Solutions
- Store banana pops on a baking sheet, then wrap them in plastic wrap and freeze. Once they are frozen, store them in zippered bags for up to a month.
- Enjoy them frozen or let them thaw about 10 minutes before enjoying.
