This simple homemade oatmeal peanut butter bars recipe makes an indulgent no bake dessert (or snack) with only a few ingredients and just 5 minutes prep!

Ingredients  

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup honey

Instructions 

  • Place peanut butter and honey in a large bowl and microwave for 1 minute or until melted.
  • Once melted and smooth stir in the rolled oats and chocolate chips. Stir until fully incorporated and chocolate has melted.
  • Spread mixture into a parchment-lined 9x9 pan.
  • Chill for an hour before cutting and serving.

    I have made the chocolate ones in past. When you say oatmeal are you meaning the dry oats or cooked oatmeal? It makes a big difference in how they turn out. I had a friend use cooked ones and I told her I used the dry. Mine worked, hers didn’t. Thank you!
