I may  be a frugal blogger and run a website but I’m also a mom, a wife, and really….I’m just like you!! I thought you might like the opportunity to learn something about me other than my couponing skills So here’s a little about me, JB.

I am married to the most wonderful man and I am also a mother to 4 amazing kids. I learned the art of finding a  great deal as a teenager. Growing up as a Pastor’s daughter we weren’t wealthy by any means so we always had to be sure to make our dollars stretch. Once I was old enough to work, I didn’t want to let go of my money easily so I learned the art of hunting down a good deal.  Years later I ended up as a single mom and I needed to stretch a dollar even more than I ever had before. I started learning how to save on basics such as diapers and groceries. The best part was if I saved enough, I could  treat myself once in a while to something fun like a pedicure! I deserved it right? Being a single parent was hard work!!

I have since made it a way of life. Even if I never had to worry about money again I could never just spend it carelessly.  In our economy I know every dollar counts and it’s my mission to bring you best deals and freebies possible!! I don’t ever want anyone to have to struggle as I did as a single mom so I want to teach you how to save money on the things you need to buy so you can afford a few things that you want (you know: chocolate, wine, and pedicures).
