These BBQ Bacon Chicken Bombs are soooo yummy!!! I tried out a small batch the first time I made them and my hubby gobbled them up, so I had to make a second batch so I could try them!! These make a great appetizer, especially for sporting events! Be sure to pin this recipe to your Superbowl recipes board!! You’ll thank me later ;)

BBQ Bacon Chicken Bombs recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (I cut mine in half and pounded them flat)
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 1 cup bbq sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Pound out the meat with a mallet.
  2. After chicken is thin, cut it into 1-2" wide strips.
  3. Cut the package of bacon in half.
  4. Take one strip of bacon and lay a strip of chicken on top of it.
  5. Roll the bacon/chicken up and secure with a toothpick.
  6. Repeat until all the chicken is gone.
  7. Place the chicken/bacon rolls on a cooke sheet.
  8. Top the chicken with brown sugar.
  9. Top the chicken with BBQ sauce.
  10. Cook for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.
  11. Turn them over and cook again another 10-15 minutes or until cooked through.
